Types of Watch Actions:

Watch List

• Device: Mobile only
• Description: This result appears when searching for a TV show or movie title on mobile devices. It lists streaming services under the “Watch show” option. Users can choose a streaming service to purchase the show from or log in to a subscription by clicking on a “Watch” button.
• Ranking: Ranktracker will assign an individual rank for each result. A base rank will not be given.

Watch Table

• Device: Desktop only
• Description: Similar to the watch list results, these are presented in a flat rank table format. It appears only on desktop with a knowledge panel on the right-hand side showing additional information. This result type is parsed as a carousel type, and no base rank is assigned.

Episode Guide

• Device: All
• Description: This result displays details of TV show episodes. On mobile, episodes are shown in a list with expandable descriptions and a “watch” button. On desktop, it includes a knowledge panel with “watch now” and “about” information. Individually ranked desktop results linked to Google search will be attributed to Google. Multiple links within the “Watch Action” button will be in a watch carousel with a flat rank.
